About eMail List

eMail List is a tool that allows you to privately correspond with your instructor and fellow classmates inside a course. Instructors have the choice to use, or not use, this tool in a course. If they are using it, you will see it on the left or right of your course listed as "eMail" list.

The advantage of using eMail List rather than an external email address, such as Yahoo! or Gmail, is that all correspondence is maintained within the course so you don't have to leave it to communicate. This way, you don't have to search through your personal email for course-specific correspondence.
